Le Caselle country house, with its peaceful environment, is situated in the middle of green olive groves close to the historic town of Viterbo, with a wonderful view over the surrounding countryside.

The building, dating from the 13th century, was originally used by the Dominican friars from the nearby church of Santa Maria della Quercia who worked the land. It now belongs to the Mecarini family, who have had it carefully restored to its ancient splendour following the guidelines of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage. The house is less than 15 minutes’ drive from the centre of Viterbo.

There are seven comfortable rooms with ensuite bathrooms, a spacious dining area and a bar, as well as a large garden area in which to relax. Long walks can be taken among the olive groves and chestnut woods belonging to the property.

Le Caselle, open all the year round, serves a typical breakfast as well as an evening meal if required. The Mecarini family looks forward to welcoming you.
